Elizabeth Greenberg, MSW, LICSW
My vision of the therapeutic process is one in which I hold space and provide a listening presence. Clients can then connect more deeply to their inner wisdom and access their own healing energy. The work we do together is guided by the needs, strengths, and goals of each individual or family. I enjoy using a blend of traditional talk therapies, play therapy, art, music and journaling to assist clients to more deeply understand themselves and to resolve whatever concerns lead them to seek therapy. I am also trained in SoulCollage, a simple process using collaged images and journaling to express varied aspects of our inner selves.
I bring over twenty-five years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and families in crisis. It is a privilege and a joy to work with clients on a journey to greater self-understanding and healing. I provide a warm, accepting, non-judgmental, and safe encironment to create a container for the demanding work of therapy. I have particular interest in the following areas: adults in transition or dealing with grief/loss, children with behavioral/mental health issues, family therapy, and LGBTQ issues/concerns.
Also, I offer supervision for interns and masters level providers working toward licensure.
